Why we should reduce, reuse and recycle

In the environment today there is a real issue of what is called Greenhouse Effects and Global Warming. These two conditions have a great effect on the earth. If everyone did one thing a day to change the environment then maybe we can get a handle on the Greenhouse Effect.
You don’t have to solve the energy crisis to help save the environment but there are some subtle things you can do in the meantime.

We can reduce the amount of cars that are on the road. Pollution is the number one reason for the Greenhouse Effect. If people used mass transportation and carpooled or if work was close to their homes where they could bike to work, then it would cut down about 50% in pollution. It would be better for the environment, better for the people and in the air we breathe and it would be better for the animals as well.

Another reason to recycle stems yet again to the Greenhouse Effect. Plastic takes years and years to decompose if just left at the garbage dumps. That is why in many cities and towns it is required of homeowners to recycle. When the plastics are brought to a recycle center it is important because the plastics can be melted down into more plastics and in the same action you can reuse the plastic as well. Even at home, before you throw away the plastic bags from the supermarket or the plastic from the milk container. Reusing and recycling are two of the best ways to help save the environment.
